New Little Journal: Alpha & Omega

The B/W Little Journal is finished. During the weekend I'll try to understand how to make a little flip video and post it on Youtube.

I'm still working on my "official" 2013 journal, but yesterday I started a new one.

It's called ALPHA & OMEGA.

I still don't have a clear idea of what to put iside it, but I know that it will take shape while working on it. :)

As I promised yesterday, here I am to introduce you to my upcoming

FREE WORKSHOP:

ChakrART

  It is  a 7 weeks online workshop that will deal with Chakras and making Art.

"What are Chakras?", you will ask. 

Well, Chakras are centers of energy (or life force) that are linked to vital points in our bodies.

The task of this workshop is to use the energy of our chakras to make spiritually inspired ART.

You won't need any specific supplies. You only need your imagination and your own supplies.

This is a workshop open to all media: painting, drawing, beading, woodworking, writing...

There won't be any piece to reproduce. Instead, you will have to work on yourself and create YOUR unique work.

This week's journal page reads

TWEET IT OUT LOUD.

Lately I'm trying to say out loud what I think as often as I can. Usually I'm a very diplomatic being and tend to keep my opinions for myself. But sometimes I get tired of all the ignorance, discourtesy and self-centeredness that I see around me. So I speak. I speak even if I'm not understood. Just to release some tension and start anew. That's incredible how selfish, ingnorant and touchy people think that you are a rude person when you tell them what you think of them.... Eheheeh!!

I wrote that journaling is addictive, and it is indeed!!

As I'm not able to do just one thing at a time, I took the hint from TEESHA MOORE'S AMAZING 16 PAGES JOURNAL and VALERIE'S DOODLING POSTS to create a 16 pages Black and White Doodling Journal.

I have already made some pages. When I finish it I'll try to make a flip video of it.

Journal Page: Change & Surprise

I've been feeling blue this week. 

So, to exorcise it, I decided to make a blue journal page based on the word CHANGE.

This word, as long as OPPORTUNITY, are going to be my 2013 mantras.

In Numerology my 2013 Destiny Number is 1: time for new beginnings.

One of my first steps towards 2013 is 

hosting a FREE ONLINE WORKSHOP.

I will give you more info later next week.

Just know that it is going to be an artistic journey.

Caviardage Journal Page & Some Little Friends

A new journal page. It's going to be addictive!

Mixed media with a try at CAVIARDAGE.

The caviardage technique consists in erasing some sentences of a written text, leaving only interesting words or sentences to create a new meaning.

Once it was used as a censure method.

For some examples of Caviardage visit this page.

Instead of using a complete page, I cut the words from it and rearranged them to create a sentence.

It reads

"CREATION IS THE FIRE BROUGHT INTO THE FIREPLACE. IMPULSES SHRINK PERPETUALLY AND EXPAND POWERFULLY INTO A SERENE TRANCE-LIKE SLEEP".

This week I made some postcards, too.

The theme is "FRIENDS". :)

The Beginning

"The beginning is the most important part of the work" (Plato)

Many new beginnings this year:

- a new journal

- an upcoming project

- a new life for my sister and nephews

- a (not sure yet) change in job

2013 Journal: Every Dream begins with an Obscure Dream

My first entry for 2013 is from my Art Journal.

The journey has begun.

This is going to be a huge commitment for me, but I'm very excited about it.

The sleeping Moon/Goddess is a card and it reads: "I'll give you this stone of ice and power. Use it to enter the Old Tree's roots and descend lower and lower". (words are mine)

In Shamanic rituals the descent into the roots is the beginning of the journey into the Otherworld.

As this journal is going to be an inner journey, why not starting this way?

It will also contain some pages related to a project I'm working on.. It took me 5 months to put all the pieces together, but now it's almost complete.

I'll tell you something more in a few days. :))
